Crookston High School and Middle School recently brought teams of math competitors to the annual University of North Dakota Math Track meet.
Teams from each school compete with teams from other schools. This fun day helps promote math and form and maintain contacts between secondary mathematics students, teachers, and the UND mathematics faculty.
This year, the UND Math Track Meet had 218 students on 59 teams from 14 different schools.
Crookston had great success-
1st place for the 7th/8th grade team level
3rd place for the 9th/10th grade team level
Ella Capistran placed 2nd individually among all the 7th-grade students.
