Crookston Girls Golf finishes 2nd and 6th at TRF Invite

The Crookston Pirate Girls Golf team shot a 371 and a 494 to finish second and sixth place out of six teams at the Thief River Falls Invitational on Thursday. Roseau won the event with a 365.

CROOKSTON –
Ava Martin, a senior, shot an 88 to finish in 2nd place. Ava carded one birdie, six pars, five bogies, and six double bogies.
Emelia Hoerner, a senior, shot a 90 to finish in 3rd place. She had two birdies, two pars, 11 bogeys, one double, one triple bogey, and one quadruple bogey.
Halle Nicholas, a senior, shot a 95 to finish in 9th place. She recorded one birdie, four pars, six bogies, three double bogies, and four triple bogies.
Elsie Mathews, an eighth grader, shot a 98 for 12th place. She carded five pars, three bogies, seven double bogies, and three triple bogies.
Makenna Peterson, a freshman, shot a 99 to finish in 14th place. She had four pars, four bogies, seven double bogies, three double bogies.
Lillian Bridgeford, a sophomore, shot a 114 and finished in 24th place. She turned in two pars, four bogies, four double bogies, four triple bogies, two quadruple bogies, and two five-over pars.
Haddie Halland, an eighth grader, shot a 117 and finished 117. She carded one par, one bogey, eight double bogies, four triple bogies, two quadruple bogies, and two five over pars.
Ruby Martin, a seventh grader, shot a 130 and finished 31st place. She recorded one bogey, five double bogies, six triple bogies, three quadruple bogies, and two six over par holes.
Lainee Wagner, an eighth grader, shot a 133 and finished 33rd. She had two bogies, three double bogies, three triple bogies, eight quadruple bogies, and two six over par holes.
Harper Hann, an eighth grader, shot a 138 and finished 36th. She carded one bogey, three double bogies, four triple bogies, five quadruple bogies, three five over pars, and two six over par holes.
