The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a train derailment from Burlington Northern Sante Fe at the intersection of Highway 75 and 210th Street Southwest north of Crookston. Nobody was injured in the train derailment and nothing was leaking from the cars. A total of 22 cars had derailed. There is no concern for public safety. This is the same location as another train derailment on February 8, 2021.
No further information will be released at this time. Responding units included the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Crookston Fire Department.
