Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, November 25, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Jess Owen Redhorse, 45 of Mahnomen, for gross misdemeanor domestic assault. Released on personal recognizance.

Brent Allen Durand, 39 of East Grand Forks, for felony fugitive from justice from another state.

Ethan Roy Basche, 24 of Crookston, for felony 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with person under 13.

Nathaniel James Peltier, 24 of East Grand Forks, for felony 3rd-degree sale of narcotics.

Raphael Vargas, 28 of East Grand Forks, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park or public housing zone.

Christopher Anthony Gaines, 25 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 1st-degree possession of 25 or more grams of cocaine, heroin, or methamphetamine.

Nichole Alexandra Peters, 31 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 1st-degree possession of 25 or more grams of cocaine, heroin, or methamphetamine.

Fire Calls:

The Crookston Fire Department was called to RiverView Health at 11 a.m. Friday and found that the construction work had activated the alarm, it was turned over to maintenance.

At noon Friday, they were called to a home on the 900 block of Eickhoff Boulevard for a carbon monoxide alarm. They found that the homeowner had started their vehicle in the garage and the wind had blown the fumes into the home. They ventilated the house and spoke to the homeowner.

On Saturday morning at 10:20, they were called to the 100 block of East 7th Street, on a complaint of possible garbage burning. They investigated and explained to the resident that only burning of dry wood was allowed.

At 3:00 Saturday afternoon they responded to an elevator alarm on the 800 block of Fisher Avenue, and found that the call button had been bumped accidentally.
