The Crookston Reds Amateur Baseball team scored in the top of the first inning and had an outstanding pitching performance from Blake Karas to beat the Moorhead Miners 4-0 in a game played in Moorhead. Zach Brown of Crookston was wrestling for Minnesota 2 in the Junior National Duals in Tulsa Oklahoma and he went 3-2 in his matches. Zach didn’t wrestle in a 43-27 loss to Washington in the first round. In the second round, Zach lost a 10-7 decision and team Ohio beat Minnesota 33-32. In the pool
The Crookston Park and Rec 10U Baseball team has had a good summer and that continued this weekend with a first place finish in their own tournament at the Highland Complex.
