The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Tennis team did bounce back after a tough 4-3 loss to East Grand Forks on Thursday defeating Detroit Lakes and Wadena-Deer Creek in the Detroit Lakes triangular. Crookston didn’t have any trouble in a 6-1 win against the host Lakers and finished it off with a 4-3 squeaker over Wadena-Deer Creek.
The Crookston/Fosston/Bagley Seal Swim team lost to the Perham Yellowjackets 58-36 in a dual held in Fosston. Crookston’s Chloe Boll came away with four first-place finishes. Boll, once again won the 50 Freestyle by over one minute and finished second place in the 100 Freestyle while getting edged by 21 hundreths of a second. Chloe
The Crookston Pirate Volleyball team ran into the always-tough Sacred Heart Eagles and were swept 3-0 (25-11, 25-9, 25-12) in a match that took less than an hour to complete in East Grand Forks. FIRST SET Sacred Heart came out strong and took a 6-1 lead behind two Reese Chwialkowski kills and Rylee Chwialkowski ace.
