Combine Fire Reported In Rural Fosston

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a combine fire on Monday at approximately 4:02 p.m.  The fire was at 385th Street SE in section 25 of Queen township in rural Fosston.  The combine, an early 1990’s Case International Axial-Flow 1680 was parked on a farmyard when it caught fire.  The fire department extinguished the fire and the combine was a total loss.  There were no injuries reported.  The combine belonged to Matthew Albrecht of 42487 385th Street SE of Fosston.
