Crookston 6th Grade Girls Basketball wins DGF Tourney

The Crookston Girls Sixth Grade girls basketball team won the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Winter Blast Basketball Tournament, on Saturday. In the first round, Crookston beat Hawley Gold 22-19. In the semi-finals, they beat New York Mills 26-14. In the championship game, Crookston beat DGF 27-24.

Crookston improved to 10-2 on the season.

The team was coached by Garret Kollin, and Dave Dufault (former CYBA coach & grandfather of Kambree Wangen, who filled in for Ericka Kollin). Members of the team are Alle Kollin, Kambree Wangen, Keeva Kleiner, Hallie Perry, Stormy Lukow, Clara Cymblauk, Maggie Van Ruden, Hillary Webber, and Hadley Dans.
