CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY, JUNE 28

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers. The meeting will open with a presentation from Stefanie Okroi on child-care operations at Washington School.

The consent agenda will include a resolution to approve City of Crookston bills and disbursements in the amount of $393,390.81 and a resolution accepting a bid and awarding a 2021 Federal Fund Street contract for improvements.

The regular agenda will include resolutions to approve commercial rehabilitation loan program deferred loan repayment agreement and mortgage, rental rehabilitation loan program deferred loan repayment agreement and mortgage for Noelle Nelson, resolution to approve an Intermediary relending Program (IRP) loan repayment agreement and mortgage with TJC, INC, followed by a resolution to approve the school resource officer service agreement between independent school district #593 and the City of Crookston. There will also be a resolution authorizing and/or ratifying the sale or disposal of a property in the Evergreen Estates Subdivision and calling a public hearing for the wellhead protection program.

The Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) will then have board members address the City Council regarding an amendment to enabling resolution. After that, there will be a resolution calling a public hearing regarding modifying the enabling resolution concerning CHEDA.

The next meeting will take place at City Hall on July 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
