CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES REFERENDUM VOTE

The Crookston Public School Board met in the Crookston High School District Office Conference room on Thursday afternoon.

The meeting consisted of the board canvassing the election results of the school’s public multiuse facility referendum held on February 14. They received 1,717 ballots, including 225 absentee ballots, with 1,010 voting yes, 706 voting no, and one defective ballot. There were nearly 300 more ballots than in the primary election in August.

The board approved the canvassed results.

The Crookston Public School Board will next meet on Monday, February 27, in the Crookston High School’s Choir/Orchestra Room.
