DINE-OUT WEEK TO SUPPORT THE UNITED WAY OF CROOKSTON KICKS OFF SUNDAY

Twelve local businesses are taking part in Dine-Out Week to support the United Way of Crookston Sunday, November 10 through Saturday, November 16.  Participating restaurants include China Moon, Crookston, Eagles, Crookston Inn, Daroos, Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, El Gordito Market, Happy Joe’s, I.C. Muggs, Irishman’s Shanty, McDonald’s, RBJ’s, and Taco John’s.

United Way Executive Director Lori Wagner encourages residents to go out to eat for the United Way and the 23 local non-profit agencies they support. “We’ve been doing it for the last couple of years, and last year was our best year,” said Wagner.  “Every time you go out to eat in the Crookston area, a portion up to 10 percent from participating restaurants goes back to the United Way.  So, be sure to go out this week.  Go out with your family, out to lunch, or for breakfast, and up to 10 percent goes back to your local United Way.”

Wagner noted the new businesses that have joined Dine-Out Week for 2019.  “The new businesses this year are the Eagles, China Moon, and Draft’s,” said Wagner.  “So, I really appreciate you guys being new this year.  And if anybody is interested in it, next year, let us know.”
