The Crookston High School Athletic Department, pending school board approval, will hire two former Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey players to be assistant coaches for the Pirate Girls Hockey program.
Emily Meyer, who is currently a paraprofessional at Highland School and Stacy (Flikka) Olson, a first-grade teacher at Highland School, will be added to the Pirate Girls Hockey coaching staff. “I am excited to have these two former players join the staff,” said Pirate Girls Hockey Head Coach Tim Moe. “They both bring a lot to the table and they will do a great job.” Moe will be in his seventh year as head coach, the eighth year overall.
The first day of practice for Minnesota State High School Girls Hockey teams will be Monday, October 28.
