The United Way of Crookston received their check from Hugo’s Family Marketplace Manager Bob O’Halloran on Wednesday.
Hugo’s held a golf tournament that helped raise, $9,828.35 for the United Way of Crookston. “Hugo’s is a great community partner,” says Lori Wagner Executive Director of the United Way. “Bob O’Halloran and Nick Nelson from Hugo’s were true leaders and motivators from the start. We also had an 11-person United Way committee that was very engaged! Hugo’s thank you for being the Elite Sponsor for this event. Thank you to all of our Hole sponsors this year, the in-kind sponsors, team sponsors, food sponsors, and prize sponsors. Without all of you, this would not have happened.”
Next year’s golf tournament date is June 27, 2019.
The Crookston United Way fundraising goal for 2018 was $160,000 and they have now raised $171,100! The New 2019 campaign starts October 2018 with Soup and Chili Cookoff October 15, at Crookston High School.
