Lake Agassiz Regional Library invites the public to journey around the state of Minnesota with photographer and storyteller Doug Ohman as he explores towns and villages throughout the state. The program will focus on the rich history of various cities and towns and will include interesting stories relating to the town names.
The tour is sponsored by Lake Agassiz Regional Library and will include visits to the following locations:
Climax Community Center, 105 W. Broadway, on Monday, September 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Halstad Living Center, 201 4th Ave. E., on Tuesday, September 17 at 2 p.m.
Moorhead Public Library, 118 5th St. S., on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Ulen Senior Center & Library LINK Site, 13 1st St. NW, on Friday, September 20 at 3 p.m.
Hawley Public Library, 422 Hartford St., on Friday, September 20, at 6:30 p.m.
Ohman will also return to the area to present Name That Minnesota Town at the Bagley American Legion on Wednesday, November 6, at 9:30 a.m. in a program offered in partnership with Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning.
