RECKLESS BOATER REPORTED ON UNION LAKE, SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS ERSKINE MAN

On Sunday, June 30 at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a reckless boater on Union Lake in Polk County.  Deputies responded to Union Lake and deployed a PCSO boat.  The suspect boat was located, stopped for a separate boating offense and escorted into the public landing.  The male operator of the boat was identified as Emelian A Frolov, age 23, from Erskine, MN.  There were also seven other adults riding in the watercraft with Mr. Frolov.

Mr. Frolov was arrested for a boating while impaired offense and transported to NWRCC in Crookston, MN.  No one was injured during this incident.
