The Red Lake River in Crookston is continuing to rise and is currently forecasted to crest on Tuesday, April 14.
As of today, the river level is 12.3 feet above the action stage of 12 feet. Minor flooding begins at 15 feet, and current projections indicate the river could reach approximately 16.9 feet at crest.
City officials are actively monitoring the situation. The Crookston Public Works Department will be continually monitoring river levels and evaluating conditions to ensure a timely response to any changes.
Residents, particularly those in low-lying and flood-prone areas, are encouraged to remain alert and take necessary precautions as river levels increase.
