Minnesota’s Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) are awarding seed grants to 45 energy efficiency and renewable energy projects—including six within the northwest region of Minnesota. The projects range from educational outreach on clean energy incentives to energy efficiency for manufactured homes and skill-building for clean energy careers. Seed grants strive to support historically underserved communities.
The Benedictine Living Community-Crookston held its annual Food and Cash Drive in November. The Benedictine Living Community has coordinated this event since 1999 to raise money and canned food items. This event takes place every year through the entire month of November. All of the proceeds from the event have been donated to the Care
During the entire month of November, The Benedictine Living Community Crookston Mission Integration Committee will be sponsoring a Grocery and Cash Drive. Money donated can be dropped off at the BLC-Crookston business office during normal business hours and will be matched by BLC-Crookston. Groceries can be dropped off at either entrance of the facility. All
The Crookston Care and Share’s Annual Winter Clothing Drive starts on Monday, September 12, at the Care and Share Center and will be open every day until Friday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All items in the drive are being given away free of charge, and the drive is open to everyone
