The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had six wrestlers compete in the Purple Pride Invitational in Albany, with Carter Coauette winning the championship at 172 pounds and Riley Helgeson finishing third at heavyweight. The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had four varsity wrestlers competing in the Northwest Invitational tournament in Fertile. Crookston finished sixth place out of seven teams with Mahnomen/Waubun winning the tournament with 98 points, 7.5 points better than United Clay Becker. Crookston lost to BGMR 66-16 and lost to Roseau 54-18. CROOKSTON VS BGMR – Crookston had five open weights and started the match having to make up 30 points.
