THREE CROOKSTON STUDENTS PARTAKE IN BEMIDJI STATE HONOR BAND

On Saturday, January 28, three Crookston students participated in the Bemidji State Honor Band event at Bemidji State University. Grace Smith (10th-grade oboe), Mareile Meyer (11th-grade flute), and David Threatt (11th-grade horn) were selected to attend this event along with students from several other Minnesota schools.

CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH TEAM HOSTS FIRST HOME MEET, FINISHES 2ND

On Saturday, February 18, Crookston hosted its first varsity speech tournament, with nine teams competing. Competing at the tournament included: Blackduck, Breckenridge, East Grand Forks, Fosston/Bagley, Red Lake County, Roseau, Thief River Falls, Warroad, and Crookston. In total, 83 students competed in 90 events, with all 13 MSHSL Speech categories represented. Crookston finished second place
