SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH ISSUED FOR NW MINNESOTA

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, for the following counties in northwest Minnesota. Beltrami, Clay, Clearwater, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau.  A watch means conditions are right for the development of severe thunderstorms.

POSTPONED SKYWARN STORM SPOTTER CLASS TO BE HELD AT UMC MAY 17

Polk County Emergency Management, in conjunction with the National Weather Service, will be conducting a Skywarn Storm Spotter training class.
