About Extension 4-H:

Minnesota 4-H is the youth development program of the University of Minnesota Extension. Available to youth from kindergarten through one year post-high school, 4-H offers hands-on learning experiences in areas such as STEM, leadership and civic engagement, animal science, creative arts, and more. Through 4-H’s “learn-by-doing” approach, youth gain essential life skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and leadership, which help them succeed in school, college, careers, and their communities.

Research shows that 4-H members excel academically, become engaged citizens, and contribute to their communities at more than twice the rate of their peers. To learn more about Minnesota 4-H and how you can get involved, visit https://z.umn.edu/mn4h.
