ZACH BROWN COMPETES IN JR NATIONAL DUALS Day 2

Crookston High School’s Zach Brown is wrestling for team Minnesota 2 in the National Junior Duals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The second round of wrestling was held on Thursday with the Greco-Roman Duals.  

There are three other area wrestlers competing for team Minnesota with Ashton Clark of Park Rapids, Cade Lundeen of Thief River Falls and Chandler Mooney of Badger-Greenbush-Middle River.

Match 1 – Minnesota 2 beat Michigan 2  59-10
Zach didn’t wrestle.  Ashton Clark won 6-5, Cade Lundeen won by decision in OT, Chandler Mooney won 12-4.

Match 2 – Minnesota 2 and Alaska tied 34-34
Zach last by Tech Fall (16-5).   Cade Lundeen lost by pin at 45 seconds, Chandler Mooney won by decision 14-12. 

Match 3 – Minnesota 2 beat South Dakota 38-32 for third place in the Red/Blue Division.
Zach didn’t wrestle.  Ashton Clark won by Tech Fall (12-2), Lundeen and Mooney didn’t wrestle.
