The Red Lake Falls School District and Athletic Department are proud to announce plans for a new state championship sign recognizing the Rebels’ historic 2025 Minnesota State Baseball Championship season.
The sign will serve as a lasting tribute to one of the greatest accomplishments in school and community history. It will honor the hard work, dedication, and commitment shown by the players, coaches, and supporters throughout the championship run.
Over the past several months, many community members, alumni, parents, and fans have expressed interest in helping make this project a reality. Because of that tremendous support, the school district and athletic department are moving forward with fundraising efforts to help cover the cost of designing, producing, and installing the sign.
The proposed sign will be placed in a prominent location along Highway 32 at the turn to the athletic complex so students, athletes, and visitors can celebrate the accomplishment for years to come.
Anyone interested in contributing can contact Seth Schmitz (sethschmitz@rlfedu.org or ext. 124), the High School Office (218-253-2163) or stop in the building at any time.
The Red Lake County Rebels captured the program’s first-ever state baseball championship last spring, creating memories that will forever be part of Red Lake County history. The championship sign project aims to ensure that achievement is permanently recognized and celebrated by future generations of Rebels fans and athletes.
