The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 5/14/2024 –
At 11:01 a.m., the CFD responded to the 2300 block of Sahlstrom Dr. for a report of a smoke detector activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a faulty microwave. The CFD unplugged the microwave and reset the alarm. There was no danger present. The CFD turned over control to the staff on scene and cleared the scene.
