The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on September 15th, 2020:
At 11:45 am, the CFD responded to a call on the 100 block of Washington Ave for possible Carbon Monoxide (CO) in the house. Investigated and did not find any CO in the house. CFD completed an in-home fire survey and advised the homeowner to install CO detectors. Then cleared the scene.
At 2:37 pm, the CFD responded to a call on the 2300 block of Sahlstrom Drive for a general fire alarm activation. Upon arrival on the scene, there was no fire in the vicinity. CFD investigated the cause of the alarm and found a plumber soldering set off the alarm. Reset alarm and turned over to maintenance and cleared the scene.
