The United Way of Crookston is holding an online auction to raise money for the fight against hunger. The auction runs through November 15 and can be accessed at www.32auctions.com/unitedwayofcrookston.
The Villa St. Vincent will have a cash and grocery drive for the month of November. The public is invited to participate as cash and non-perishable food items will be collected at the Villa’s front entrance. Not only does the mission of the Villa St. Vincent and Benedictine include compassionate and quality care, but also “attentions to the underserved and creating compassionate communities.” All proceeds will be donated to the Care & Share.
Crookston residents in Wards 1, 2 & 6 will vote at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 1214 University Ave. Residents in Wards 3,4 & 5 will vote at First Presbyterian Church at 510 N Broadway. Polls will be open today, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
