COVID-19 CASES CONTINUE TO SURGE IN CROOKSTON WITH NEW RECORD WEEKLY HIGH, NUMBERS FOR THE KROX LISTENING AREA (NOVEMBER 27)

The Minnesota Department of Health released its COVID-19 Weekly Report (here) on Friday.  All information is updated through 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 unless noted. Information on Polk County and the KROX listening area was pulled from the report and is below – 

Update from Polk County Public Health –

11/27/20: Polk County has a total of 2,382 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19. From November 19th – November 25th, Polk County has had an increase of 433 new cases. Currently, 27 individuals are hospitalized and 5 of these individuals are in ICU.

Now more than ever, we need to work together to slow the spread. Please continue to practice social distancing, avoid gatherings, wear a mask, wash your hands for 20 seconds, and be alert for symptoms.
