CROOKSTON 4TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL FINISHES 2ND IN CYBA TOURNEY

The Crookston Fourth Grade Girls Basketball team wrapped up their season this weekend by taking second place at the CYBA Tournament on Saturday, March 23.

In the first game, Crookston beat Hatton-Northwood 32-6.
Crookston beat Warroad 23-21 in a sudden death/second overtime. The game was tied at 19 at the end of regulation. It was tied at 21 after the first overtime, and Crookston scored the first basket in a sudden-death overtime time period to get the win.
In the championship, Bemidji beat Crookston 23-14. 

The fourth-grade team ends the season with a 16-4 record, and members of the team are Kaitlynn Klawitter, Zaelyn Normandin, Annie Kollin, Penny Smith, Keira Gudmundson, Emma Newquist, Isabelle Beckman, Freya Brekken. The team is coached by Kalie Normandin and Karissa Beckman.
