The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
The Council will begin with a public announcement on Fireworks for Ox Cart Days, followed by a Presentation on the APG Development project.
The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the proposed City Council meeting minutes of the meeting that took place on March 28 and of the Special meeting minutes from April 4 and 5 meetings. It will also include the approval of the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursement in the amount of $346,956.53, the continued renewals of 2022 Licenses for Gas Fitting and Cement Mason License for the City, plans and specifications, and bid calls on the 2022 Street Improvements, and the agenda for the upcoming Crookston Housing & Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) Meeting on Tuesday, April 19.
The Regular Agenda will include the resolution of authorization to execute a Minnesota Department of Transportation Grant Agreement for Airport Improvement Excluding Land Acquisition for a State Project at the Crookston Municipal Airport, as well as to approve a Small Cities Development Program Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program Deferred Loan Repayment Agreement and Mortgage for Craig and Katherine Theede. The next items on the Regular Agenda are to authorize the agreement with the University of Minnesota, Crookston, with respect to the use of the Crookston Community Pool for aquatic classes and other arrangements for the period of July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. The Council will then call a Public Hearing to consider a proposed Business Subsidy Agreement for the APG Development and hear from the public on any questions or concerns they have from the presentation. The final item on the Regular Agenda will be to listen to a summary of the closed session from the Special City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 5, regarding negotiations from Interim City Administrator Charles “Corky” Reynolds.
