FIRST SET
Crookston had a close first set with Warren-Alvarado-Oslo. Crookston’s serving was very solid, as Joey Nesseth would get an ace. It was a back-and-forth battle, but the Ponies pulled away with a 25-21 set victory.
SECOND SET
The second set was another back-and-forth battle, but Warren-Alvarado-Oslo again pulled away and won the set 25-19, giving them the 2-0 victory. Crookston’s Danielle Kresl had 14 digs in the losing effort, and Joey Nesseth and Rhianna Moore led the team with five kills each.
