CROOKSTON YOUTH SOFTBALL TEAMS FINISH 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD

Crookston Park and Rec youth softball teams finished first, second and third place at their tournament on Thursday. 

The Crookston Ponies won the championship in their division.  Crookston beat Red Lake Falls 7 -1 and beat Fertile 3-1.  Members of the Ponies team are Addie Fee, Karena Longoria, Alex Luna, Ella Meyer, Jordan Bryant, Chase Larson, Dukessa Ramirez, Shayla Azure, Adelia Weiland, Danielle Kresl, Katelyn Ringstad, and Carley Knutson.  The team is coached by Jasmin Hanson and Kenze Epema.

Crookston has two bantam teams and they finished second and third place.
Crookston team 2 won their first game, beating Fertile 8-0.  They beat the other Crookston team 6-1 and tied Red Lake Falls in the championship 3-3, forcing extra innings.  After one extra inning and the game still tied, they had a coin flip and Red Lake Falls won the game and Crookston finished second place.
Members of the team are – Teegan Johnson, Mya Bower, Lucy Paulsrud, Peyton Hoffman, Mollie Samuelson, Madi Bruggeman, Destiny Baglien, Peyton Demerais, Cora Prudhomme, Evie Gunderson, Brea Lessard, Leia Parkin, and Blake Brockpahler.  The team is coached by Tiffany Hanson, Jenna Coauette and Eden Haller.

The Crookston Bantam team 1 beat Fosston 8-0 in their first game, lost to the other Crookston team 6-1 and beat Win-E-Mac 5-4 to finish third place. Members of the team are Leah Johanneck, Allysen Wagner, Rilynn Aubol, Adley Vigness, Brylee Darco, Lilli Bridgeford, Madi Abrams, Hailey Fritz, Kenze Lindo, Allize Barrientez, Lacey Follette, Elle Pierson, Ella Anderson, and Shyuh Burnette. The team is coached by Hannah Emanuel, Kylee Meyer, and  Kaydin Brule.
