MPPOA endorses Steve Gander for Minnesota House of Representatives in District 1B

The Minnesota Police & Peace Officers Association (MPPOA) has officially endorsed Steve Gander for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 1B, citing his strong leadership, unwavering commitment to public safety, and dedication to serving Minnesota communities.

In a letter issued on behalf of the MPPOA Board of Directors, the association expressed its full confidence in Gander's candidacy, offering its endorsement “without reservation.”

“We are proud to formally and unequivocally endorse Steve Gander,” the Board stated. “This endorsement reflects our strong confidence in his leadership, character, and steadfast commitment to public safety.”

The MPPOA noted that rank-and-file peace officers across Minnesota appreciate Gander’s commitment to supporting law enforcement and ensuring the safety of both officers and the communities they serve. The association emphasized that his leadership helps foster safer, stronger communities throughout the state.

Founded in 1922, the Minnesota Police & Peace Officers Association represents peace officers and retired law enforcement professionals statewide. The organization’s endorsement reflects the collective support of thousands of public safety professionals dedicated to protecting Minnesota’s citizens.
