The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Crookston and the area until midnight tonight (Friday, May 17).
The watch includes Polk, Clay, Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Red Lake, and Roseau counties.
A severe thunderstorm watch means conditions are right for thunderstorms, and they are possible during the watch.
