PIRATE WRESTLING EDGES BARNESVILLE, BOLL BREAKS CAREER WINS RECORD WITH 204

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team won eight matches, including a big win from Senior Hunter Kresl at 195 pounds. At 220 pounds Ethan Boll won the 204th match of his career to break the Pirate wrestling career wins record of 203 held by Cody Weiland, to win the Section 8A quarterfinal match over the Barnesville

CROOKSTON PIRATE WRESTLERS FALL TO BARNESVILLE AND DGF

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team wrapped up the regular season with two dual losses at the Barnesville triangular in Barnesville.  Crookston and the Barnesville Trojans tied at 42-42, but Barnesville won the tie-breaker to win the dual.  The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels won five of the first six matches to win the dual 45-29. PIRATE WRESTLERS WIN THE TEAM TITLE AND HAVE 6 INDIVIDUAL CHAMPS – BOLL WINS 200TH MATCH

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had six out of the nine wrestlers win a championship as they won the Northwest Invitational in Fertile.  Crookston was 32.5 points better than runner-up Badger/Greenbush-Middle River.  The six champions were Casey Weiland, Ethan Bowman, Carter Coauette, Hunter Knutson, Hunter Kresl, and Ethan Boll.  Ethan also won the 200th match
