REZAC FINISHES 2ND, BAIG FINISHES 4TH AT STATE SPEECH

The Crookston High School Speech team had two placers at the Minnesota State High School League State Speech competition this past weekend.  Crookston seniors, Samantha Rezac finished second place in Storytelling, and Zara Baig finished fourth in Humorous Interpretation.  Brandon Wandrie competed in Original Oratory, and Zachariah Plante competed in Humorous Interpretation.

CHS SPEECH TEAM PLACES WELL AT WALKER-HACKENSACK-AKELEY TOURNEY

On Saturday, March 4, the Crookston High School Speech team competed at the 51st Chuck Beckman Memorial at Walker-Hackensack-Akeley. CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH TEAM HOSTS FIRST HOME MEET, FINISHES 2ND

On Saturday, February 18, Crookston hosted its first varsity speech tournament, with nine teams competing. Competing at the tournament included: Blackduck, Breckenridge, East Grand Forks, Fosston/Bagley, Red Lake County, Roseau, Thief River Falls, Warroad, and Crookston.
