The Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey team took a one goal lead late in regulation, but the North Shore (Two Harbors, Silver Bay, and Duluth Marshall coop) Storm answered less than a minute later and scored 32 seconds into overtime to get a 3-2 victory on the second day of the Hockeytown Holiday Classic in Warroad.
The Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey team had a rough start to the day as their charter bus got stuck at the Crookston Sports Center and needed a tow truck. After the bus was out of the ditch behind the arena, the team took off, and the start of the game was pushed back 20 minutes.
