WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY WILL HOST KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP APRIL 8-9

The 2019 Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday night, April 8-9 at Washington Elementary School.  Registration is from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. each night and the program will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Kindergarten roundup is an opportunity for parents and their children to meet the kindergarten teachers and learn about what kindergarten is.  They will also get a chance to ride the school bus and a “toolkit” sponsored by the Otto Bremer Foundation and Crookston Early Childhood Summit.  “We’d love for anyone who is kindergarten eligible to come to check out Washington School,” said kindergarten teacher Monica Parenteau.  “It’s a great place to learn.  Kindergarten roundup is for children who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2019.  It’s a great opportunity for parents and their child to come and see what we have to offer at Crookston Public Schools.  It’s also a great opportunity to get questions answered about whether your child is ready for kindergarten.”

Families with students that would be entering kindergarten should have received a letter in the mail.  If you haven’t received one you can call 281-2662 or stop by the Washington Elementary School office.
