Crookston High School kicked off homecoming week on Monday with homecoming coronation at the Crookston High School auditorium.
Parker Kelly was crowned king, and Addison Pal was crowned queen by 2023 Homecoming King Isaac Thomford and Queen Halle Winjum.
The king’s court includes – Brandon Colborn, Michael Deng, Teagen Lubinski, and Rylan Lubarski.
The queens court includes – Addie Fee, Paige Abrahamson, Kaylie Clauson, Mackenzie Funk
When asked how they felt about being the 2024 Crookston High School Royalty, the queen said she is excited. “I’m feeling pretty good; I am excited about that, said Pal. “Part of me thought I was going to win, but another part was like, no, you’re not. It was like kind of a surprise.”
The king said he was excited, too. “I am excited as well; I definitely knew I was going to win,” said Kelly. “There were a lot of people who voted for me.”
The auditorium was full, with 9th-12th grade students attending as well as parents, other family members, and community members. Pictures from the coronation are below. The video of coronation is also below.
