CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL ONE-ACT PLAY ADVANCES TO SECTIONS

The Crookston High School One-Act play placed second in the Subsection competition held in the Crookston High School Auditorium on Thursday night.  East Grand Forks won the competition. The other teams that competed in the subsection event were Fertile, Ada-Borup, and Sacred Heart.

Crookston and East Grand Forks will now compete in the section One-Act play event, which will be held in Bagley on Saturday, February 3. The winner of the section will move on to the One-Act play state competition.

Crookston performed “The Inexplicable Chaos Factor of Mia Gregory.”

The CHS drama club faced some adversity heading into the competition, with one of their leads experiencing illness. CHS Drama Club director Beth Carlson voiced her opinion about how proud she is of her students.
