The Crookston Pirate Girls Swimmers have one in the finals and a relay team and another in the consolation finals of the Section 8A Girls Swimming and Diving meet in Grand Rapids.Â
FINALS-Â
Madison Hoiland will be the lone Pirate swimmer in the finals. She will swim in the 100 Breaststroke after finishing sixth place in the prelims. Madison trails the second-place finisher by over two seconds. The top two in each finals event advance to state.Â
CONSOLATION-
Crookston’s 200 Medley Relay of Mackenzie Aamoth, Madison Hoiland, Claire Oman and Fallon Johnson will be competing in the consolation portion of the meet on Saturday after a ninth-place finish in prelims.
Madison Hoiland will be swimming in the 50 Freestyle after her 10th place finish.
The Pirates also advanced the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Fallon Johnson, Mackenzie Aamoth, Claire Oman and Madison Hoiland finished ninth and will swim in the consolation finals on Saturday.
