AMERICAN CRYSTAL SUGAR EMPLOYEES VISIT CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL

On Wednesday, November 8, Travis Oliver’s beginning welding classes at Crookston High School had American Crystal Sugar employees come into the classroom and talk about the scholarship opportunities that they have for graduating seniors.

Cory Sandberg- HR Director, Zach Olson- Factory Manager, and Lucas Kostrzewski- 2020 CHS Graduate and recent ACS Scholarship Program graduate, made the trip over. They visited with about 32 students to give them an idea of what the scholarship entails. Kostrzewski talked about his college experience and what it is like to work at American Crystal Sugar.

Travis Oliver said: “I personally like to bring companies in early for the students so that they are aware of opportunities before their senior year. This could give them a chance to meet with personnel at the company and possibly complete a job shadow. American Crystal Sugar is a great partner to work with, and they have many opportunities in their factories.”
